Emergency simulation in the Student House: preparation and safety first of all

A new evacuation simulation was carried out yesterday at the Student House of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, a key activity to ensure the security of the entire university community. These trials make it possible to assess the effectiveness of emergency protocols, improve coordination between staff and students, and foster a culture of risk prevention.

The importance of conducting periodic drills lies in the need to be prepared for any eventuality. As highlighted in the fire drill conducted in November 2022, these exercises not only test the alarm and evacuation systems, but also strengthen the collective consciousness on how to act quickly and responsibly.

We will soon share more details on how yesterday’s exercise was developed, the evacuation times recorded and the improvements observed compared to previous exercises.
